“The Shell”

Modern organic project of a residential house upstate New York.

The project seeks to minimize negative environmental impact by efficiency and moderation in the use of materials, energy and development space, to create harmony between human habitation and the natural world.

The house build in the shape of Nautilus Shell, has only one circle room with a tree growing from the ground in the middle of that room. 75% of the space curved with a glass to create a stronger feeling of connection with nature.

The circle shape of the space represents wholeness, original perfection. There is a spiral skylight on the roof of the house, which symbolize the journey and change of life.
